STUDENT REPRESENTATION COUNCIL

 SRC who are elected annually. The SRC have numerous duties including:

Helping teachers supervise special areas of the school such as the canteen, wudu, prayer time cleanliness of the school grounds, play area for younger children etc.
Helping younger students during recess, lunch and assembly times.
Bringing to SRC meetings students’ ideas & opinions for improving the school. The SRC also represents the school at official functions and may be required to give speeches



WHAT'S CAN SRC DO FOR THE SCHOOL?

1. The student representative council (SRC) provide all the student with a voice.

2. Ideas, suggestions and requests for changes to school practice can be made by the (SRC).

3. A major focus of the (SRC) raising funds for, an awareness of the disadvantaged.


STUDENT WHO ARE INTERESTED IN STUDENT COUNCIL MUST:


1. Be  flexible and exhibit the potential for leadership.

2. display positive classroom behavior.

3. Have a genuine interest in the welfare of others.
